Do I need an appointment, or can I just drop in?
Booking ahead gets you in fastest — you’re on the hoist at your time, not whenever a bay opens up. We’ll take walk-ins if we’ve got room, but spring and fall tire season fills up quick.
What services does A-Service offer?
Oil changes, brakes, tires (swaps, sales, balancing, storage), suspension work, computer diagnostics for that check-engine light, and general repair — batteries, belts, cooling systems, the works.
How long does a seasonal tire swap take?
Usually under an hour once your car’s in the bay. Spring and fall are our busiest stretches for swaps — book a day or two ahead if you can, especially the first cold snap or the first nice weekend.
Is A-Service an independent shop or part of a dealership chain?
Independent — no chain, no franchise fees to cover. Just a small crew on Stony Plain Rd who’d rather earn a repeat customer than upsell a one-time job.
What are A-Service’s hours?
Monday to Friday, 10 to 7. Saturday, 10 to 4. Closed Sundays. We’re at 15903 Stony Plain Rd.
Do you give a price before starting the work?
Every time. We check the car, tell you what’s actually wrong, and give you a number before anything gets touched. If something else turns up mid-job, we call you first.
